About Us

We are an independent costa rican videogame team, that searches to offer new, fun and nostalgic experiences to all videogame players, to bring throwbacks to the golden era of videogames, when the essence of gaming was pure, concentrating mainly in the quality, combinanting the traditional and modern aspects all together to craft a masterpiece.

Everything started when one day we (The founders of BIC) went to a library together and started talking about classic videogames from the 1980 and 2000s, each one of us had our own way to start in the “Gamer” community, some started at the young age of 4, whereas other started quite recently; but all of us shared that intense passion and love towards the electronic art, and the outcome was that we decided to participate in a national fair and said “Sure, why not?”, we achieved the accomplishment of getting pretty far thanks to our first creation “Tin Striker”, after the fairs we thought: “We cannot stop here, this is our dream. Whom from us has not dream with creating their own videogame?”, this is the point in which we decided as a team to form our passion into an authentic work, Black Ice Cream Productions.
